I was influenced by social media and videos and ended up buying two shades: Angdoo and Figfig. On the plus side, they have a pleasant scent, nice texture, and cute packaging—everything feels lovely. The downside is the wear time: it lasts about 20 minutes. There’s no real staying power—just a regular gloss that transfers onto everything until it disappears. It leaves a slight tint, but that doesn’t last long either. You can layer it multiple times without any issues.
As for the colors: I have fair skin with a pink undertone, and my lips are cool-toned and slightly purple. Angdoo is too bright pink—almost childish—and leaves the expected magenta tint. It’s great for teenagers. Figfig looks pink on the hand, but on my already bluish-cool lips it pulls quite purple because of its strong purple undertone. It doesn’t look natural. The shade works on me, luckily, but be careful: Angdoo makes pink lips even pinker, while Figfig emphasizes the bluish tone.
I expected long-lasting color (since it’s marketed as a lasting tint) and softer, more natural shades, so I’m pretty disappointed. For that kind of intensity, there’s already Maybelline Superstay. If you apply less—only to part of the lips—it won’t even last 20 minutes. So for dry, thirsty lips, it doesn’t hold up.
Overall: it’s pleasant, doesn’t dry out my lips, smells wonderful, and the formula is nice. The colors are vibrant but semi-sheer (it won’t cover areas with weak pigmentation on the lips). But it has very little staying power, and the tinting effect is weak.
